New York based trumpeter, Benje Daneman, is quickly becoming an in demand performer and educator throughout the nation. His professional career took flight after attending the Henry Mancini Institute (Los Angeles, CA) in the summer of 2006. Following his time in Los Angeles, Benje had the honor of performing and touring with Doc Severinsen and his Big Band, competing as a finalist at the National Trumpet Competition in Fairfax, VA, performing on a GRAMMY nominated album (“Elevation” on Concord Records with The Henry Mancini Institute Big Band) and attending the world-renowned JAS Aspen Seminar (Christian McBride – Music Director). Also a devoted educator, Benje has a strong passion for music education. Benje has taught at all levels ranging from elementary to college.
